Last night David, Charlie and Rob found themselves in a church that on Sunday had resonated with the sound of prayers and on Monday resonated with the sound of The David Rhodes Band. A quite special place for the first show of the autumn tour in Cologne Kulturkirche.

Soundcheck was tricky with the sound bouncing back and forth through the empty church. The old wooden church benches looked lovely though they may not have been the most comfortable. The crowd was enthusiastic from the start and their being there made the sound improve.

The encore was David solo with a subtle and beautiful 'Bittersweet'. It was a great start of the tour. Cheers, Team D R
